Just got an Alacatel Idol 4s.

Charged and turned it on. Did the set up. Setup a PIN, did the fingerprint scan...but alas...for the Windows Hello Facial Recognition:

Windows Hello is Preventing Some Option From Being Shown

On my Hp Elite x2 - no problems (it's just slow)

Do I really have to do a hard reset (factory reset)?

What is preventing it?!!!!

GAAAAAAAGH!!!!!

Thanks,

Mr. V

If you haven't already, check for updates. Keep doing so until no more updates show. Then do a factory reset. I do this for every bit of hardware I get. If it still doesn't work, return the device for a replacement.

This phone only supports the fingerprint, not facial recognition...that's why...oh boy, do I feel dumb...
