I actually agree with you there. I quite like Metro IE, and I wish I could use it in a Window and forget the old IE interface altogether. I'd use it as my main browser if I could just get the Metro version... as insane as that sounds.

It was clean, modern and simple. It's everything Chrome used to be

That would be awesome if it a windowed version! I would still use it

I concur...

I used to stay in the desktop IE, until I got my tablet. Metro IE grew on me more and I found myself using it instead. I still didn't think I would miss it so much until it was gone. It makes much more sense to have it in Win10. I am going to guess it will be an option at the least in IE12.

Windowed apps lose the "immersive" experience. Windows 10 adds chrome at the top and bottom, so Modern IE wouldn't be that good in Windows 10.

For those of you willing to tinker, save and run this in powershell and you'll get Metro IE back.
