I'm running on VMware, and I did some updates, but downloading the preview build is madness. First it didn't find one (fixed). And today I started the download. I'm posting this here 5 HOURS later. Is this a VMware problem, or something else?
(btw, downloaded 3 Mb file in half second on preview. Not the internet)

Technically, the answer to your question is "it's something else". I'm running VMWare Workstation on an 8.1 HP EliteBook i7; download the new build in 8.1 and mount the .iso as a DVD drive in your VM. If your download speeds are different between your host vs. VM, it's likely a VMWare network driver conflict of some sort, so check for updates.

Looks like my impatience got the best of me. 10 minutes later, it downloaded and installed just fine.
