DirectX 12 in Windows 10 Preview Builds?

Tried searching for a post on this and couldn't find it. Anybody know if DirectX 12 is already in the builds or is this something coming later down the road?

All Technical or Consumer Preview versions of Windows 10 will not have DirectX 12 but either DirectX 11.2 or 11.3. Only the final retail release and maybe the free for one-year upgrade versions of Windows 10 will have DirectX 12 as this has covered in a Windows Central article.

Even if there is DX12 in these builds, you will probably not be able to use it, because most current hardware doesn't support it

WHAT,god you people are stupid, there is NO "one year upgrade" versions, all that means is that for the first year of w10's release, anyone with 7/8/8.1 can upgrade for free, its not a "free for one year" thing.

And you are way too rude here Asskickulater, what I meant by "free for one year" is not the Windows 10 upgrade being free for one year but a easy-to-understand answer of the upgrade being free for the first year for Windows 7 and 8/8.1 users.

I also knew through Windows Central that Windows 10 will be free for all paid users of Windows 7 and 8/8.1 for this year when the final version is released and I'm using 8.1 on my PC so I'm no dimwit about knowing that.

Hard for me to say if that's the actual DirectX 12, it may be a simulated version of the said component, Chuck. But still it would be best for either Daniel Rubino or Microsoft to verify whether the DirectX 12 entecera have with that Windows 10 Tech Preview is real or not.
