Windows became de-Activated after downloading new build

I think I've traced my problems to one source-- for some reason, after recovering from a catastrophic crash, Windows is telling me that it's not activated. All attempts to activate it, either online or with the key provided with the ISO (which the computer tells me is the current key), have failed. I think that's what's gimping my OS otherwise. Does anyone else have this problem?

I am having a similar issue with the new build, when I try to activate is says try again later.
