Cortana - Sorry. Speech failed to start

Hello,
I have a Windows 10 TP 9926 installed, English US region and language, but every time I try to launch Cortana, it says: ''Sorry. Speech failed to start''.
Can you please help me? Thank you.

Same here. I've been having a lot of problems with audio recording, though.

I had the same problem, the only way to solve it for me was deleting my account and put it back again, Cortana after this worked for me, though it has nothing to do with what she does in windows phone, saludos compis.

After you installed the new build, did you di another windows update? I know mg Cortana didn't make any sounds ir anything but after I had installed another update it worked just fine.

Have you attempted to setup the speech recognition?

In the Cortana Search Field, type Speech Recognition, then when the new window pops up, go to Start Speech Recognition.

This thread is about the TP on PC's and not for phones.

Yes I know, but the error number is the same and I thought I could give it a try. If resetting is to fix it, I'll have no problem trying.
