Just installed the Tech Preview 10 on my laptop...

Also I am a customer not a tech.

...and so far so good. Everything went smooth.
I like the new look of windows start page easy to navigate.
I downloaded 2 apps which are world and excel preview. I was able to open them and work with.
I.E and Google chrome browser well just as good as it was with 8.1
edit..: I.E doesn't open from start screen>all apps>I.E....it works when pin to the task bar only. Google chrome though works from all apps.
Tried Xbox music app...works for me.
When plug in my Lumia 625 to computer the system sees it. Also my Blackberry.
Can't say anything about game as I don't play them.

Of course there will be a learning curve to it. Just like anything else

I will update the op as I look around

update: I was able to reactivate my AVG security software with no problem.
It seems that my laptop is slower on the start up. Not a biggy
Cortana; very nice
No Wifi issue when restating the computer. Connect right away


Love that I have everything I need from right clicking to the windows logo
