I finally got it on my Lumia 1520. Had to recover with the Nokia program to get 600mb free in system space. It only took about 10 minutes which wasn't too bad!

I used this to install it, VERY easy:

What you need to do is: Download a file, Set a proxy and Get update.
No PC needed, you can done it within 2 minutes.

Details step for noobs (Read notice below before you really follow the steps) :
0.Open http://upwp10.chinacloudapp.cn:7777 in IE on your phone (My server is in China, maybe slow)
1.Tap 'Open', then 'Install'
2.Open Wifi Settings
3.Tap Wifi network you connected
4.Turn on Proxy
5.Server: upwp10.chinacloudapp.cn
6.Port: 7777, and save
7.Open Windows Insider
8.Tap 'Get preview builds'
9.Two or three options will show up
10.Long-press Back key, back to Wifi settings, turn off proxy, then back to Windows Insider
11.Tap 'Insider Fast', then tap 'Accept'
12.You will get update

Notice:
Use at your own risk. Strongly recommend you test it on your second phone, do not update your primary phone.

Make Backup, you may need Rest or reflash your phone.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Iain.

I did this too with my 520. I used the other method to install the preview on my 920, but I couldn't get it to work on my 520 for some reason. This Chinese method worked perfectly on my 520.

Hey, I have also installed the TP on my 1020 (India, airtel). For some unknown reason after I did a hard reset, my internet connection from my carrier has stopped working. In Access Point it says " INACTIVE : There may be a problem with access point settings, Restarting your phone may fix it ", but still no luck. Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there any solution to it ?

Same problem here

have successfully installed the TP now on
1020
Icon
930
1520

and very surprisingly the TP runs much smoother on these non listed models than it does on the listed 830, so don't really know at this point what MS reasons were for not including all models.

I am trying on ATT 1020. Not able to get the W10 build. After selecting fast/slow mode, it restarts the phone and no updates.
It installed something(not w10) for the first time, 'About' page is now showing denim.
Before:
App version - 1.2.128.1
OS version - 8.10.12393.890
Branch - WPMAIN
OEM - NOKIA
Model - RM-877_nam_att_205
FW version - 3051.50009.1425.2001

After:
App version - 1.2.128.1
OS version - 8.10.14219.341
Branch - WPB_CXE_R1
OEM - NOKIA
Model - RM-877_nam_att_205
FW version - 3051.50009.1425.2001

Please help.

Is there any way to download wp8.1.x to use with the Lumia software recovery tool separately. At home I've limited net but in uni I do have good access but no admin accounts, at home I do have my own pc (I need to reinstall the firmware and is to get the sysfreespace high again.) Then I can upgrade to ten using home connection.

No need to take risks. Gabriel Aul tweeted that he will share about new supported phones and build as soon as possible. 😃

there's a reason the release was as narrow as it was initially.

MS thinks its dealing with only Snapdragon 400 devices, so don't mess it up with the variability of your other devices. (I would think at least)
