What does it mean LED notification

2 3 week ago somebody leak a LED notification in action center.. Everybody knows that.

But what does it mean ? led light mean will be flash light? If 'led' doesn't mean flash light, capacitive buttons will blink ? My mind confused..

If capacitive buttons will blink what will be happen L630,L535,L640XL ? They haven't capacitive buttons on navigation bar.. (like more 7-8 Lumia)

Somebody explain that issue

No, an LED notification light is usually a little led thing on top of the phone that lights up when your phone has a notification. This would only work on phones that were built with this in mind.

Nicholas, lumia phones not yet little led light right ? But this leak about Windows 10 so nobody can say otherwise. Why microsoft workers doing that ? Many leak picture say that LED LED LED..

New Lumias like my 730 has a LED on top and with W10, this should be enabled for devices that have LED but not yet activated by OS.

Oh that, that's the blinking LED light for message notifications which is actually already in the newer models like 730(830 and 930?). So far they weren't enabled but this will do that.
Works mostly like they do on android.

I would like to see the button blink. That would be a nice feature. My Nokia 5800 used to do it. The light would breath if I had a notification.

The LED feature is something that I missed when I first switched to WP. Now I don't need it, but I could welcome it back.

With glance and the MS Band I don't find myself wanting or needing it as much.

HTC 8x has a LED, it's a shame HTC won't support this phone anymore, the only way to get windows 10 well be trough PFD

haha..yeah..it was painful knowing there would be no glance for 730..better to have something rather than nothing
