Problems with W10 TP messaging

Every time I try and open the messaging app on my Lumia 925 with Win10 technical preview, it is extremely slow and sometimes doesn't even open. I haven't seen anyone else post about this problem yet so does anyone have any ideas? Also, people are posting about how cool the new maps are but mine won't even open. Any help would be much appreciated.

It is a technical preview, not even BETA so issues and bugs are expected. I would recommend doing a soft reset. If the same problem still happens do a hard reset i am sure that will fix it.
