Windows 10 not recognizing one partition of HDD

Installed Windows 10 build #10074 and it seems to be working OK except that it is not 'seeing' one of the partitions on the hard drive. (about 150 gig). The unseen partition contains my 'My Documents' folder, so this is a really big pain for me.

Thanks... Ken

Re: Windows 10 not recognizing one partition of HDD

You haven't provided enough information for anyone to diagnose anything.

Open the Windows Disk Manager and see what it tells you about that partition. Possibly you don't need to do anything except assign a drive letter to the missing partition. If that's not the problem, then It would probably be best if you could provide a screenshot of what you see in Disk Manager.

Thanks for the help a5cent.
As it turns out, it was just my inexperience with Windows 10 and after thrashing around for a bit the problem seemed to magically resolve itself. lol

Thanks... Ken.

What was your fix? I'm having the same problem. I recently upgraded to Win10 and a partition now shows as unallocated even though it's not.

I'm running a Dell Studio XPS 8000
