Hi, I did a brief search but did not yield any results so I hope this isn't a duplicate post.

I noticed today via my Gmail login notification that my phone was recognized as an Android device when I log in using the Project Spartan browser on my Lumia 635 running OS Version 10.0.12562.84 (Build 10080 according to the outlook signature). Has anyone else experienced this? It shows up as "Internet Explorer on Windows Phone" when I use IE for comparison.

Has anyone else noticed this?

They fake the host string to say android so that sites stop loading up unsupported broken legacy internet explorer versions of web pages.

So won't that mean for us bad in a way as websites will think we are using android rather than windows phone using their site when they don't have an app so then not bother to recognise that windows phone users are using their sites. Its the same in windows 10. Sites tell me I'm using chrome 42. This needs to change.
