Windows 10 won't lock

I CANNOT lock/sleep my surface pro 2 running build 10166. I have had this problem on every single build. I will push the power button to enter sleep mode, and the screen goes black but then 10 to 15 seconds later the lock screen pops up. This is really frustrating because I have to shut off my computer just to save the battery to make it throughout the day. Somewhere along time ago I saw that it could possible be a driver problem? I have no idea. Any ideas on what this bug could be. Never had this problem before upgrade to windows 10

have you foind the solution? i have the same issue but its windows 10 surface pro 2 build 10240. any info would help
