How well does Windows 10 Mobile runs on your Lumia 810 / 820 / 822 / 920 / 925 / 928 ?

I lump them together because they all have name similar specifications, namely Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 and 1 GB RAM.

I do realize that the Lumia 92X has a higher screen resolution than Lumia 82X so that might cause some differences in performance.

My 920 w/ Denim and clean upgrade from 8.1 does perform really slow when compared to 8.1 Update 1. Battery life is bad and phone heats up more than it used to on 8.1.

My works as good as it did on 8.1 minus battery life which isn't great. Didn't even do a hard reset either.

920 - its really poor , reminds me of wm 6.5 running on HTC touch diamond from 2008

Really poor on Microsoft part if this carries on to Final build.

Hope some of Microsoft staff are reading these forums. , but then again as satya and Joe said focus for mobile is just enthusiastic users so they will just worry about how it performs on 950 and 950XL moving forward , there is ROI in debugging for older low end devices which are no longer going to be produced.

Pretty smooth and stable on Lumia 925 upgraded from 10512 then hard reset. No overheating or battery drain issues.

No I'm saying my phone works pretty fast as it did on 8.1 as well.

I have the Insider Preview installed on my 822 and one word I can describe it is that it is "usable".
There are still a lot of annoyances here and there but all in all, I am able to use it as my daily driver.

I am obsessive compulsive by nature, so back in 8.1 I'd always make sure that all my apps are closed.
However, here in Windows 10 I will actually highly advise against closing at least your top 5 most used apps.

In my case, Messaging, One Note, Calendar, Photos, Calculator, Alarms & Clock.

Just leave it in the task view and try to refrain from swiping it down or pressing "X" to close the app.
You will find that launching apps is much faster in resuming when it is suspended.

I had to train myself abit to not close the apps. :grin:

Lumia 920 - after installing Win 10 mobile battery life became very poor hardly for 3-4 hours after full charge, 4-5 hours if data connection is off.
Also phone gets heat up even if not using it. All apps are still running in background even if you have restricted them from Settings.
Thinking of reverting to WP8.1

Not so great battery performance is the only problem on my 930, apart from this common battery & heating TP issues everything works just fine..

Lumia 820 - best and easiest preview version yet. First one I've installed that I didn't have to do a hard reset. Battery life is better, but not great. A few apps not working but most are good to go. Just noticed that I don't have the option to block sms messages. I can turn the call + sms filter on and off in settings but the option to block when I select the message is not there.
