Lumia 930 with 10536 has no USB connectivity, how can I fix this?

Lumia 930 with 10536 has no USB connectivity

My 930 is running the latest build of WM10 10536.1004 and since that latest update I've been unable to establish a USB connection with any PC. I've tried with 3 PCs and 4 different cables so I'm certain it's the handset.

I want to flash it back to 8.1 in prep to sell it on, but as I have no USB connection, neither the Microsoft or Nokia recovery tools can see the phone when I connect it.

Has anyone else had this issue and been able to fix it?

Is this something that could be fixed when the next build is pushed through in the coming weeks or can if be fixed before hand? I've tried a hard reset already, that made no difference.

Any help appreciated.

Same combination of hardware/software and no such problems, you should try hard reset, change cable, PC...

Unfortunately I've already done all of those. Hard Reset last week, tried 4 cables and 3 PCs (Win 8.1 & Win 10).

Hardware issue?!? Problem with USB port? I'm afraid you'll have to fix this at nearest service point...

I'll try another hard reset. But if that doesn't work I'll wait and see what happens with the next build. There no point paying for a repair which cost the same as I'll get for selling the phone, so I'll hold out for the next build instead.

This issue is now fixed. I tried again last night with another USB cable and another USB port on my PC and it started to work. I'm now back to Win 8.1
