Roll back problem on L520 ?

i'm with wp10 tp 10536 on my L520, tried to roll back to wp 8.1 used wp recovery tool couln't go back wp 8.1 from wp10, getting failure notice???!!!! tried to rest the phone again and again getting the wp10 build only?? pls help and advice.......

I have the same problem, but with Lumia 830. Anyone can help? I've searched whole Internet, I guess.

I have Lumia 830 and i installed insider preview mobiile build 10549. Now i want to rollback to WP 8.1 ,but i can not to do this. Windows Device Recovery Tool vers.3.0.1
saying just after downloading only error. Nothing more, no error code.

Guys, I've found solution, you have to use Nokia Software Updater for Retail, it worked for me!

Just download Nokia Software Updater for Retail,install it and launch. After launching this, programm starts download software for phone(about 1,8 GB). When its done ,it start install this software to you phone.

What website did you download from? There seem to be lots of sketchy sites for this. Also, the old versions don't seem compatible with W10
