Apps in windows 10 mobile

Does windows 10 mobile store contain all the apps that are available in windows 8.1.. Hopefully the apps that are available in my phone(windows 8.1) should remain intact when I upgrade to windows 10 in this December release and this upgrade should not disappoint windows fans... Microsoft had disappointed thier fans many times .. Any thoughts guys?

Not all, but most. There are some apps that are not, like HERE Maps/Drive and some Lumia Apps. (I think this is mostly due to Microsoft combining apps though). But, if you have them installed prior to upgrade they will still work and continue to receive updates. I've not noticed any apps I actually use as missing though.

When Windows 10 Mobile goes live, all apps available for 8.1 will be available for 10. Unless the developer choses otherwise.

Some developers will not allow their apps
on W10 preview
for instance you can not get Subway Surfers on W10 preview
The developer emailed me back saying as soon as W10 becomes RTM
than they will allow it in the store
So when W10 becomes RTM
then I assume all apps from W8.1 will be in the new store

Great ... ... Already excited to upgrade official windows 10...
