Just updated to build 10581 and I see that a lot of people are also getting 0x803F8006 error for updating system apps.

Well, here is a workaround.
This tutorial is solely for updating system apps only caused by errors, not to promote piracy or anything regarding that matter.

What you'll need:
- Error code 0x803F8006 when trying to update a system app
- vcREG_1_2_W10.xap (from vcfan)
- XAP of the application you're updating (from denisf1981)
- And also a bunch of developer tools which came with Visual Studio with Windows Phone
- And this tool

So assuming you already have Visual Studio and everything for WP development installed, go ahead and proceed, if not, better install that package coz if you want this sorted then you're gonna need it!

How to do it:
1. Enable Developer mode. Connect.

2. Deploy vcREG_1_2_W10.xap using WPV XAP Deployer. Open app.

3. Tap ... then templates.

4. Put a tick on Live Interop/Capability Unlock. Apply.

5. Go back to WPV XAP Deployer, then add the system XAPs that you want to update. Make sure Force uninstall installed applications is ticked before you deploy.

6. After deploying, on your phone untick Live Interop/Capability Unlock. Apply.

7. Go to Settings > Extras and open the app that you updated and see if it works. In some apps like glance, it will ask you to restart your phone.

8. If all is well, then feel free to uninstall vcREG, and disable Developer mode.

And that's it, you've now updated your system apps.
On a side note, a lot of people don't know how to uninstall system apps in Windows 10 Mobile, you can use the same tool, WPV XAP Deployer, go to XAP Tools tab and paste the appID in the field to uninstall the app. So yeah you must know the appID of the app to uninstall it.
