I've been seeing the news about build 10586 being Threshold 2 and I've read this on WMPowerUser:

"According to our sources, build 10586 will be the build which many users will be getting sometime soon, starting this month. Obviously, the update won?t be available at launch for all users ? and it will take quite a bit of time to roll out to all users depending on their region, as well as carrier"

So it means that Threshold 2 or 10586 is going to be the final build? Why Threshold 2? When was Threshold 1?

"Threshold 1" or simply "Threshold" was Windows 10, build 10240, the one released to the world a few months ago.

"Threshold 2" is the next major public release.

Well...it's not going to be as important for mobile as it is for PCs, but it will also bring some new features, fixes, and so on. It also may be the RC build.

What new features will it bring to pc?
More consistency in the UI, colored title bars on modern apps, menus look better.

Something to do with syncing messages between PC and mobile, and something to do with notifying you on the desktop if you miss a call, some other stuff I probably haven't even found yet.
