Hi all.
I just re-installed 10581 on my 1320 and I noticed a couple of things that I haven't seen before. Maybe some of you have.
As usual, you get the gears, but this time a had two instances of 'gears'. The first was relatively short, the second was the standard fare. After the first had completed, the Nokia logo showed, phone booted back to 8.1 then restarted to the second set of gears. Then rebooted into the 'preview'.
When the lock screen came on I got a notification saying 'Welcome to Windows 10'. Never seen that before, also in the 'about' section it shows up as Windows 10.
Now, I've done a few install on the 1320 and I cannot honestly remember seeing this behaviour before. Unlike before, Cortana is a damn sight more responsive instead of taking ages to read a text. Flicking through screens is swifter and less glitchy. Even glance is correctly sized and didn't fail or show error in the store download, although here drive+ is still an issue!
Could this be the result of a firmware update, as the 640's etc received this week??
Like I said, I don't recall seeing this before and I'm a little miffed as to what has happened. I suppose it could just be that I'm blind as a bat with a poor memory.
Any suggestions?? Or am I in need of a nursing home for dementia??
