Groove Starts Playing In The Middle Of A Song

Hello...
Has anyone noticed that Groove, sometimes, starts playing in the middle of a song?
It happens, to me, quite frequently.
I close Groove, when I get out of the car, so I assume it will start with fresh music.
I get in the car, open Groove, and hit the Shuffle All link.
It doesn't do it, all the time, though.
Even if Groove was left open, shouldn't hitting the Shuffle All link start with fresh music?

I guess it must have some notation of where the last play ended.
I did notice, a couple times, that it started in the same song it left at.
My guess is that it holds that information, until the phone is restarted.
But, Groove doesn't have to be open for this to happen.
It's very strange (maybe cool, for some people).
