Upgrading from 11102 to 14251 boots into recovery mode

When upgrading from 11102 to 14251, the update begins downloading/installing then reboots into recovery mode upon 1st reboot with no option to upgrade like it has previous builds.

Anyone encounter the same?

I did not have this experience, but I was unable to install the previous build. Currently running 14251 on Surface Pro 3 i5.

Sad to inform that more than 2 weeks has passed since my last post here and with numerous tweets to @GabeAul and @NorthFaceHiker to the issue posted on Microsoft Community, there hasn't been a single from them acknowledging this issue...
