SMS/MMS sync server

Regardless of build, is anyone seeing nothing syncing after a clean install? Ive tried 164, 14291, and 14295. I know it takes time guys, so dont reply with that. Usually it starts a few withing 30min or so and can take up to a week for all. But ive seen nothing since the weekend on these three builds. Is there any insight to the server being down or tweaked?

No. Broke for me on 164 install. I need to report it actually. Thanks for reminding me. And yes, it's on in the settings as I suspect yours is.

add 107 to the list, been on that since wdrt install at 10a today. Still nothing. So back to 164, then to 14295

Got home and pulled out a Lumia 920 and 1020. The 920 was still on 10586.29, didnt sync either. 1020 was on 107, also didnt sync. So my guess is the servers are down/maintenance.

Anything yet? I had to restore my wife's phone to 164 and several hours later no old text....Ill be dead meat they don't come back..lol

Nothing on any of mine. Seriously though, fear not. This happened in September, December and now April. To be safe in the future, contacts and message backup does work pretty well. At least YOU will have the backup. I'm pretty sure if you restore you will have duplicates.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for folks with this problem. Windows 10 Mobile seems to be incapable of downloading texts after a hard reset. There are a few semi-active threads on this topic here. I also saw several folks post to Twitter without a reply from anyone.

Agreed. It's the "radio silence" that is disappointing. If folks on Twitter were getting replies, this might be easier to understand.

Mine was hard reset back to 10586.xxx (most recent) and no messages yet either. I remember this happened in November as well when I did a fresh install. Hopefully it resolves soon.

I just purchased a 950XL and, during OBE, restored from a backup of my previous phone (L1320, on the .164 build). SMS restored fine (although I didn't have that many to begin with).

Not yet, check back ad scroll through the threads is the best bet. I hard reset my 950 and nothing.
