Cortana not speaking

I have the latest W10 build on my phone which is a Nokia Lumia 735 and cortana wont speak, like when you ask her to tell you a joke or song the words come up and she dont say it :eck:

Hi Paul - This is a bug with the latest build. Dona Sarkar noted as much in the release notes. See below. Hopefully a fix will be out in the next build.

Cortana’s text to speech capabilities is not working in this build. For example, Cortana won’t be able to read text messages out loud for you, tell jokes, sing, or give verbal prompts.

Nope! It's everyone on the fast ring. Always read what you're getting into before you download it! I'd imagine some people who are heavily reliant on Cortana for these types of tasks opted to pass on this build.

That's the ONLY reason, Dona explained it, Cortana temporarly disabled on last preview

IMO if you are on Insider for correct reasons, testing and reporting, this would have been common knowledge because the release notes would have been read. Just sayin... another example. Lock the program, Dona, until there is a better track record and better general public perception of the platform before its re-opened to those that need to keep up with the Jones'.

I'm still able to bring up Cortana with 'Hey Cortana'. She just doesn't say anything. I can still give commands, make reminder notes, do searches, etc...

You may need to retrain it. It's working fine for me with my Lumia Icon.

I get the message "You'll need to turn on Cortana first", but is already on.
