    I have a Nokia Lumia 830, which I updated to build 15014 a few days ago. Today I received a message from my carrier (AT&T) advising the phone had used nearly all of the 4GB monthly plan data allotment.

    I checked the apps usage, and "wlidsvc" has used 3.97GB, in three bursts (248MB at 6AM, 2670 MB at 9AM, and 1151 MB at 12PM).. Is there any chance that 15014 is causing this excessive usage? In a normal month, my phone uses way less than half a gig maximum. Thanks in advance for any potential causes or solutions! I already called my carrier and requested data be shut down until I can define what's wrong here. I'm taking the phone to Microsoft Store on Monday, hopefully they can assist.

    Hi, I don't have an answer to what is using your mobile/cellular data.
    However you are on the fast ring of Insider builds and when you sign up you are likely to have problems.
    If you take your phone to the Microsoft store, I would imagine that they would advise using the Windows Device Recovery Tool to reset your phone and then upgrade to the official Win10 builds.
    I'm assuming this Lumia 830 is your primary phone and as such fast/slow ring builds are not generally advised for.
