I've got the Samsung headset and have been using it for a couple of days but so far I'm a bit disappointed with the image quality. What annoys me is that you can see individual pixels I thought the resolution of the panel would be high enough to prevent this but apparently not. Is this what you should expect with these headsets today or is it specific to the Samsung?

Once you see the pixels on any headset you can't "un-see" them.
Best not to look for them in the first place.

It's the same with all VR headsets

None of the current headsets goes beyond pixelisation; the display is literally a few centimetres from your eyes! How apparent they are very much depends on what is being displayed, though...

Luckily, I'm not having a pixel problem with my HP headset. I'm having issues keeping the lens exactly in front of my eyes so that I don't see blurriness. It's not an end all issue, but there is absolutely no wiggle room when it comes to placement on your head if you want a clear picture.
