Zune doesn't see HTC Trophy in emulator

My laptop is running Ubuntu 11.04. I love WP7 so I tried running Zune in a Windows XP SP3 emulator. The emulator sees the USB device (the icon shows up) and it's recognized as "Windows Phone 7". However, Zune refuses to see any devices connected.

Another little tidbit; When I open Zune and disconnect then reconnect my device, an update for Zune shows up. I will click "Update" and then an error will say "You already have the latest Zune software installed." Then disappear.

I'm not familiar with running Zune on a VM, but if you're using VirtualBox you can take a look at this link.

Turns out the problem was the version of Zune I was using was not meant to be used with Mango and instead I found the correct version on Megaupload. Thanks for the link though, I did end up needing it! Now an "official" WP7 user.
