i updated both mine and my wifes phones to 7720, however on mine when i go to the list of apps ( to the right) i have a letter above each section making it easier to jump right to a certain section... my wifes doesnt, it is just a list of all the apps, no letters. which by the way i hate... i dont want the letters there, they are just in the way... so how do i get rid of them... and why are they on my device and not hers?

It depends on the number of apps installed whether the alphabetical letters appears DizzyMaker.

I think it's around 20 before they appear. Don't think there is any way of removing them if you have loads of apps installed.

Unlesss you revert back to NoDo of course.

I actually find the letters very useful.

Sorry to bump this thread back up... but I'm having the opposite problem.
I have more than 40 items listed in my app list, but I STILL don't see the letters

Is there something I need to do?
I'm wondering if the 40 does not include the hubs/OS tiles :S

Try another 5 apps thaman04.
