Upgrading to Mango.

I should be getting my Trophy in the mail this week, and I am looking into how to install Mango. Has anyone used these (Instructions to install Windows Phone Mango RTM ( leaked )) instructions? They seem to be the easiest to follow instructions that I have found. Also, does anyone know if I will have to downgrade back to NoDo when the official Mango release comes to Verizon? If so, will it completely wipe my phone or does the process back up settings and what not?

As far as I know, you'll loose all data when downgrading or syncing with an official release of Mango via Zune.
