Saving passwords in IE (Mango) & connecting Wi-fi via authentication page

Does anybody know how to save passwords in IE? I never see a dialog box pop up asking to save passwords.

Also, at my work, I connect to a network which requires giving username and password to connect. I see the Wi-fi network in Wi-fi settings, I can connect and it says "go to browser". But the page that it brings up has fields for username and password but no submit button. Sometimes it does, other times it does not.

Can that be fixed?

Is there a way to save username/password on that page?

I'm having the same problem, though it seems few others are or at least not talking about it
