SD card to Android Phone

Hi -

I have a Samsung Focus and with 32G microSD card. I haven't needed the extra storage that I thought and would like to give my wife the SD for her Android phone.

Is there a way to do that considering the SD card was used and formatted for the Focus?

Last I heard on this, the card had to be formatted using certain Nokia phones before it could be used in other devices. Seems I remember some ppl having limited success with digital cameras (can't remember the type). I think there's a thread or two over at xda.
