You definitely have an interesting view on what you want to be able to do with your Windows Phone. If you have any more thoughts/app ideas/issues, just drop me a PM and I'll see if its something I can knock together for you.

This was one feature I do not think was very "interesting". Your app is in line with what is logical in my mind. Just think if other things in the OS never went away. A simple setting for keeping song controls in the volume panel should be easy for MS to implement.

Awesome to see how fast a Dev picked up a user request though. Something that most likely would never happen with an iOS dev.

    dumb question...how do a I send a PM?
While logged in to the forums, click on a user's name to the left of his/her post (in this case, BooDev). A menu will pop up. Select "Send Private Message to BooDev."

I can understand the pain that OP shares, specially when the song is still loaded and the block music control is thicker and takes a considerable amount of screen and sometimes it feels like it takes forever to go away lol but restarting a phone just to get rid of the music control seems to me way superfluous o_O IDK maybe it's just me

Ironically, Last.FM has a stop button but lacks a PAUSE button!!!! Arggg LOL

The Stop The Music! app is the way to go for those who miss a Stop button. Again, thanks BooDev!!

I keep thinking that it's stopped and then taking my headphones out of the jack and then pressing the lock button and then Kanye and Jay-z's "watch the throne" starts blaring through my work.... not good.

Stop the music is the app you need. It's so good that it even works inside the Zune player through the integration ;)

that's weird that the creators haven't thought about such obvious issue
