    Hello,
When viewing e-mails from exchange account, can we move them to folders and when moving folders, can we type the name of the folder or do we have to scroll to find the one and then tap to move it?

Also, do all folders get automatically synched to phone, or do we have to select which ones?

Last question, is there a unified inbox for all folders, so e-mails in all folders displayed in one screen with icons next to them indicating they are in a folder? If not, that's cool.

I am just trying to move from BB to Windows Phone, and trying to figure out if it has the features I use most frequently.

    Answers would really be appreciated.

    Hi, and welcome,

Yes, you can move messages to folders. You have to tap to select when moving.

I don't see any way to select which folders sync from Exchange. On my device, I can see all my mail folders, including any custom ones I have created.

You can link mailboxes and this creates a unified inbox. However, you have to open the email before you can see which account it is stored in.

Good luck with the move. I don't think you will be disappointed. The Exchange support on WP7 is better than Android for my needs.

Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it.
Regarding unified inbox, I was referring to all folders being listed in one screen, not only different accounts. :) So if you have 10 folders and 10 subfolders in each, you can get all 100 folders e-mails listed in same message list with icon showing status of it next to message.

I assume attachments are no problems, like word, excel and pdf. We can open the attachments and save them?

Is there a file system support, can we keep a copy of our documents in a folder and be able to attach or view them on demand?

I figured it out recently, just click on bottom right "..." and you will see all the options you are looking for, all folders are there and can be selected + unified messaging....

Coming from IOS background and have 3gs and Ipad, WP7 is amazing in this regard, managing your several email accounts, chat/social accounts, creating social user groups, IE browser experience is world class....best part is its real real fast compared to IPAD/3GS...

my phone is samsung focus S and I am loving it:)

Thanks for the answer, but you still cannot use "move to... " dialog box with keyboard, can you? Can you type the name of the folder you want to move this e-mail to?
