In the world of smartphones, Windows Phone 7 is barely a blip. It has, by some estimates less than 6% market share. Android now owns half the market and iOS about 26%. This isn?t right.
This is one of those interesting things often cited as a quality metric by Apple fans, that WP7 is a failure compared to iOS because it has so little marketshare...oddly enough it has a pretty similar marketshare to OSX in the desktop market but of course using marketshare as a quality metric there wouldn't be quite so acceptable to those same people.
I personally think WP7 is great, it's odd that the more I use it the more I like it, for every other platform I've used it's been the opposite.
