phone troubles - help??

First time ive had a real issue with my HTC Trophy

if I keep touching the phone while its illuminated i dont have a problem, but when it goes dark and I would typically be able to hit the power button and wake it up it won't come back around and requires a battery pull.

Anyone experience this before? Any help short of a hard reset? Ill take it to VZW tomorrow but I have a feeling they wont know any more than I already do.

ive notice a phew other people complain about the same problem regarding HTC`s Phones.

i think the problem may be with your Phisical button! if you bring it in to VZW they should be able to exchange/repair it. unless you broke it your self with phisical or water damage.

this happends to me with my Samsung focus some times , i need to push the button a couple times to get it to turn on.

It should definitely not be happening, so like Selfcreation said, I would return it due to faulty power button.

Thats the main complaint I've heard about the titan is the flimsy/poorly designed physical buttons.

Thank you for the replys. I've gone into VZW and they will be shipping me a new one. As long as everything transfers over I can't be upset with a shiny new wp - love the OS, not so much HTCs build quality. Now if only this were 4g & FFC...
