I fixed it!!! This is so easy, if you know the way

Just, "mouse over" on the "Windows Phone" Menulistitem und click on the Icon next to the link. On the new "window" scroll down to the bottom und change it to your needs!

You dont need to disable "safe browsing"!

Hello everyone, I am using best Windows phone and it is working very well. I likes it's all features and application but I have one problem since 10 days. I can not open facebook on my Windows phone. There is no any other fault in my phone. What can I do..?

The fix for me on WP8 is to do the following:

1) Facebook's Desktop Site -> Privacy Settings
2) Ads, Apps and and Websites -> Edit Settings
3) Change Old versions of Facebook for mobile from Only Me to Friends. This setting controls the privacy of things you post using old Facebook mobile apps that do not have the inline audience selector, such as outdated versions of Facebook for BlackBerry.

when you go to that location you'll see the Windows Phone App. Once apon a time it showed up where everyone else is referencing under either privacy/account settings and then apps but it no longer shows up there. Instead go to https://www.facebook.com/appcenter/my -> click on settings for the windows phone app -> change "only me" to friends or whomever you'd like to see your posts.
