I think it would be nice if no matter which panel you were on that there was a "home" link to take you back to the first panel. Where I first noticed was using rowi that I wanted to get back to the "Timeline" panel without swiping around to it. In most cases, there aren't so many panels in an app that it will take more then 2 swipes to get back, but imagine you're down in the details view of an item. I really don't want to:

    1. tap back button
    2. swipe to get to the home panel

I'm just saying this is a current deficiency in the OS. Now in iOS, it's the same deal from a details view, you have to click a "Previous" button. But given they don't have panorama apps, instead they use a tab control so you're always back to "home".
