few things can be causing it.

are you using the original charger? if not , try it with the original.

if so.

1. the charger is broken : ( check the wire )
2. The PIN on the phone it self is broken. if the PIN's on the phone are broken it MIGHT not be covered by normal manufacture warranty as it becomes *physical damaged* cause by you not being delicate ( they are very easy to break if you plug in your phone on a angle )

3: if the PIn got wet it might have metal corrosion witch you can try to clean with 90%+ rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush ( rub it on the PIN)

ref here for more info on Warranty: http://forums.windowscentral.com/os-discussion/187398.htm#post1625455

Probably there's a short in the USB cable somewhere between the plug and the phone, try buying a replacement one on amazon. They're dirt cheap on amazon it's not even funny.

thats a good idea , but id try a Charger that you KNOW works before buying a new one. cause it COULD be the phone!!!

so see if a friend can lend you a MICRO USB charger or go to a store and have them let you try one for 2 sec(in store) . see if it works.

if ti does then its your wire!

How about a little history on your equipment, first-poster?

In any event, into what charger? If the phone battery is way down, you have to plug the cable into the wall AC, not just the USB plug. Good luck and welcome.

It's a good idea regardless, those cables are like under $3. You can buy like 2 or more of them just in case and for different purposes.
