Hey everyone! I'm looking to update my Nokia Lumia 710 to Windows Phone 7.8 using the Navifirm method. I understand its an unofficial method but I really want WP7.8.
I have a question though, naturally when you flash the device you lose all previous information stored on the device such as sms, music photos etc.
On the MacOSX Windows Phone Client you're able to make backups of your device. Would it be possible to restore the sms, photos etc from my backup once I've flashed my device with the new firmware?
