Lumia 800, Bing and WP7.8

On 7.5 the bing button was like an app, with search, music finder etc, on 7.8 its a webpage, is there anyway or any app to get back the old feature? I miss music finder lol, i hate the web page look

Wut? I have 7.8 and Bing is exactly like it was before. I'm not sure what you're talking about. Perhaps some images will help.

not a developer, so i can't screenshot. it comes up as an internet explorer web page with bing homepage whenever i use the search button. highly annoying

I know that there is this "trick" with wp8 to make google appear on the search button where u change in internet explorer ur search provider and change ur region to Russia. I did this, without changing to google and saw the Bing home page would show up on my 8X, so maybe change regions and see what's up?

by any chance you are using separate country/ languages in 7.5 and 7.8? i read somewhere, if there is no bing app for a specific country or language, it will redirect to bing webpage version.
i used English (india) for both and the bing app functionality is identical in case of both 7.5 and 7.8

just select the browser adn search language to english, then it will work!
