7.8 update

Can anyone shed any light on the 7.8 update, how long can this take!? MS are trying to fix an old system after all.. everything else seems to be moving on just fine, new 8 updates coming, new OS (blue) coming soon!! seems the original windows phone customers of last year have been well and truly dumped, it,s obvious they are not trying to fix this at all.
When windows slumps again this year do you think MS will put 2 and 2 together?? and get 4! Just in case they get 5 ill tell them....it will be the original loyal customers who put their money into contract and phones and got left behind twice!!! big time!!!! talk about a bad taste!!!!!!!!!!! erm let me think....IOS... Android...Hmmmm

WP7.8 was already released. Did you watch the promo video? You can do it change your tile size from Big, to medium, then to small. From small you can go back to big, then to medium, then to small. You can also go from medium to small on other tiles.

Sadly, even though they teased it for a year, and even though there was VERY little done in the 7.8 update.... Microsoft couldnt release this minor update without a MAJOR bug. So it was pulled.

Some live tiles dont work, and when they fail they will cause you to use excessive data. That bug was found by users on Feb 2nd. On March 3rd, MSFT acknowledged the "minor bug" and will "Consider" a fix for some day.
