Voice recognition got worse?

Love my Lumia 800 with 7.8, and loved the speech recognition, making calls whilst driving.

But last couple of weeks, phone has not been able to recognise names it had no problem with in the past.

I believe there was an article on how the behind the scenes speech recognition had been improved about the same time.

anyone else had an issue, or is it just a coincidence?

I was able to notice improved voice recognition before I read about those changes, so I think they did quite well. My phone always had problem with "difficult" names, so I had to find out how my phone would pronounce these names untill it worked

Recently my phone has been having issues with voice recognition. My "Hey DJ" app doesn't play the desired song over 50% of the time and the voice dialer has been just as bad if not worse. Verizon HTC 8X.
