Live tiles are not updating

Is it just me or the 3rd party apps' live tiles stop updating?

Anyone else is having the same issue?

What OS are you running?

How many apps do you have enabled to run in the background?

7 background apps running currently.

I have that problem from time to time. When it happens I delete the app and reinstall it. Most of the time that works for me.

I've had tile updating problems the last few days...

Happened to me also on 7/11. I think it happened after I downloaded updates, I don't what they were though.

Mines is either fixed from the advice here, or new updates I got today. But its working now.

Repinning or reinstalling the apps may work.

Yup the live tiles are working again now after stop working for more than a week.

I wish I remember that apps got updated during the time. Gotta start taking notes.

Well.. it stopped again yesterday.

Just for reference:

• Apps recently installed: Scroll Tile
• Apps recently updated: Basketball Live, Evernote, Gmail.

EDIT: Scroll Tile is the culprit this time

For like 6 months no apps worked in the background. Uninstalling Facebook fixed that finally. But despite the fact they now at least somewhat work, I stilll find it to be an inconsistent experience. Twitter has stopped working & WPC too.
