Will there be another update for WP7.x users?

My phone currently runs on 7.8 (I think most WP7 phones do run on this)
Will MS provide some more basic features in the next possible update?
I don't know, such as atleast selecting multiple photos in the pictures hum=b to delete or share!
What are your thoughts?

My personal thoughts based on all information I can remember from Microsoft and associated channels - No. I wish they would gear up for one more update and leave it at there.WP7 is still a big enough chunk IMO.

Hmm. I think that there was this leaked slide showing something called WP7.x after 7.8.

Seems like they were planning something, but ended up throwing it away.

I would not play this last update if your phone is working ok and do not add any relevant features.

Imagine if something went wrong how few resources they will use to patch it and how many time it would take.

The number of WP7 users is only going to get smaller, and they're having a hard enough time adding new features to WP8 in a timely fashion. I think there's no chance that WP7 will get any more updates.
