Windows 7 Application Whitelisting
I came across a 6 year old article on Application Whitelisting on Windows 7 and wanted to give it a try. Fortunately I did it on a test machine.

I followed the instructions and all went well until I wanted to add another application to the White List but I am now blocked out off any control panel actions and cannot do anything with the computer.
I wondered did I do something wrong or does enabling Application Whitelisting also block out all other Control Panel actions.
I was under the impression that AW only affected applications
