Slowly getting used to WP8.1 on my Lumia 1520 - particularly the smaller text sizes on some system elements, which I'm actually starting to quite like. However the smaller text sizes seem to have caused an issue with some apps.
Some apps, particularly those that show the top bar and/or a menu bar, no longer fill the screen in some circumstances. For example, look in the forums on the WPC app - in the forum listing, the app fills the screen nicely - but in the thread view, there is a small black bar at the bottom of the screen, underneath the menu.
The Bing News app also shows this behaviour nicely - the main photo, obviously designed to be a fixed height depending on the screen, doesn't even fill the app, which itself doesn't fit the screen.
Is anyone else seeing this on their 1520? Also, does anyone else think that taking a screenshot is quite a bit trickier now?
