Action center question/issue

Loving 8.1, trying to set everything up but i've noticed Facebook doesn't show up in my action center, am i missing something? I have tried both FB beta and the regular app, can't get anything to show up. I go into my settings to look at what is allowed to show notifications and FB is absent from the list, is there a way to add it?? I have the messenger app and that shows up no problem but other than the built-in apps, no other third party apps are tied in, and i can't for the life of me figure out how to add them. I have checked for updates to the apps because I think to take advantage of the action center, the developer has to add something to the app, correct? I want 6snap, 6tag, all those apps in my notification center as well, cant figure it out.

Yes, they showed facebook in Build conference but doesnt seem to work.. i would really like a setting in Action centre where I can pickup apps (external) which have to show notifications.

Apps need to update for WP8.1 in order to use this feature. Your app isn't updated yet. Wait for update.

This. My action centre picked up Facebook but only after the store had me update it. Has also picked up the Nokia call filter now too

or when App send a toast. Action Center detects that app "exist".
