Album Arts not working after WP8.1 update

Did any one notice this problem? Album Arts are totally messed up after updating to WP8.1 in Nokia Mix Radio. And default Music app does not have Album Art in Live Tile

Yes I noticed and as 1 of 2 primary reasons for using my phone, I am completely turned off by the new music hub, It's truly atrocious and I wish I never updated.

It's just unbelievable that a huge company like Microsoft with so many talented software engineers can't even make a damn Music app to work as it should. This goes both for the WP8.1 and Win8.1 versions of Xbox Music.

Though I started using XBox Music App after upgrade, feel that this played is very dumb. No live tile album art, or atleast not a transparent one it's just a big green icon with nothing in it. Hate this one. Hope MS releases the updated apps soon.

Guys just wait for the Music app update, Joe already promised it, I hope it comes out within a week or two, since it's a big big problem. But again this is a developer preview + Beta

Have almost the same issue, just that my music's artwork is all messed up! Whenever I play "Yayo" by Lana del Rey, I get the artwork from "Britney Jean".Thankfully there's an update coming soon! (Can't wait for the Skype update)

Probably because the Music folder is now read only. Bummer cuz I need to delete a bunch of podcasts that WP tossed into it after a reset.

Brilliant MS have managed to make a rubbish music player even worse! Congratulations MS, now missing album artwork and cannot even use MPA Tool to fix it anymore. At least good old Nokia Mix Radio displays my albums correctly so I can just ignore the very very poor apology for an App that is XBM.

Update: Someone suggested using Music Hub Tile app which simply restores the previous WP8.0 music app, installed and hooray album art reappears. Also MPA tool works with this app I believe. MS still need to re-think XBM though.

I had this problems too but I solved it with dBpoweramp... Removed all tags and album art and then added album art manually in dBpoweramp. It worked for me, and now all album arts show up in all my music apps!

​Tired of re-syncing albums and deleting them again and again? :unhappysweat: MP3Tagging software, switching off streaming, hard-soft resetting, changing region solutions are not helpful anymore? :eck:
