8.1 SD Card Support

Not sure if many have noticed, but in Storage Sense the sections on the SD Card include Maps and Podcasts. Setting all the storage options to SD Card doesn't help as maps and podcasts are still downloaded to the phone and can't be moved.

Would this be classed as a bug, maybe an upcoming feature, or have I just not found the right options yet?

You always had the option to move Maps to the SDcard using Nokia's Storage Check Beta app.

About podcasts I don't know.

On phones like mine though (HTC), that's not an option... Yet the category is there which hints that there must be some way to store maps on an SD card without Nokia's intervention...

It's probably an upcoming feature. Some app that could work as Nokia's Storage Check would be nice till then.
