How to play music with 8.1?

Can someone tell me how they play music after upgrading to 8.1. I lost XBOX Music and the native music app as well. I'd like to be able to play the mp3's I placed on my Lumia 920 as well as my XBOX Music pass subscription music.

Did you uninstall that music app? It's still in the apps list (when you swipe over from the Start screen). It's simply called Music now. There's also Video.

I'm sure someone will come along and say the app is garbage. There's also Nokia Music.

I didn't uninstall it but it is no longer there. Video is missing as well. I did notice Video is in my store "to be updated" list, except the store doesn't work either.

Is there anything native that plays music. Since I can't download, i'm out of luck.

I have the "Music" app but my music isnt showing, that is tracks i bought. I usually stream my songs to save space, but they are not showing up.
